Retired Audio Analyzers
Celebrating the System One Analyzer
To commemorate the 40th anniversary of the System One analyzer, we held a contest to find the longest, continuously in-service unit. With over 60 submissions from 17 countries, Solid State Logic (SSL) was crowned the winner. SSL was the first manufacturer of solid-state control systems for large pipe organs in churches and cathedrals. As music and technology evolved, they became known for their 4000 Series consoles, which powered the sound of countless hit records. The introduction of the System One unit helped simplify their workflow and reduce manual processes while maintaining their high standards of performance.
